The name Lyra comes from the lyre, a small harp-like instrument favored by musicians in ancient times – including Orpheus. When Orpheus was killed, his lyre was thrown into the river. An eagle was sent by Zeus to recover the lyre and the eagle and instrument are both placed in the sky.
The Lyra Full Bodysuit is meant to represent the awe of linear geometry one experiences when looking at the night sky. This bodysuit is constructed of waxed neopoly , ingeniously designed to turn the human body into a sexy, linear landscape.
